R & D ACTIVITIES

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is recognized as a Research Centre by Anna University Chennai, for carrying out collaborative research work. The Centre for Research and Consultancy has been established to promote research culture and to give motivation to Sponsored research and consultancy activities in addition to the academic research. Sponsored research projects investigated by the faculty and supported by various government and research organizations have helped the Institute in procuring state of the art instruments and equipment necessary for carrying out high quality research. Research projects of academic nature as well as those aimed at solving industrial problems are being pursued.
