About the Department

The Department of Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering was started in the year 2005 with an annual intake of 60 and increased its student's intake to 120 in the year 2009. The department has highly qualified and experienced faculty specialized in diversified areas of Instrumentation Engineering.

Program Educational Objectives
  • The graduates will have adequate knowledge in engineering mathematics, basic science and in the fundamentals of electronics and instrumentation engineering for successful professional careers in instrumentation engineering.
  • The graduates will have acquired skills of the practicing engineer and/or to pursue their advanced courses in modern engineering fields leading to research.
  • The graduates will have self competency with ethical values to address the technical challenges during their career.
  • The graduates will deliver effective teamwork and communication to adapt them in a competitive environment and also to enhance their continuous learning process.

  • The students will be familiar with different sensors and transducers, electrical and electronic circuits.
  • The students will demonstrate knowledge of controllers, processes, characteristics of various controller modes, methods of tuning of the controller and design of control systems.
